Twitch Rivals Valorant Series 1: Schedule, format, players, prize pools, how to watch

After a very successful Launch Showdown tournament in June 2020, Valorant is back on Twitch Rivals with Series 1.

Twitch Rivals Valorant Series 1 will see 40 popular content creators competing for their share of a $50,000 prize pool.

Eight captains were selected to assemble 8 teams, with some of the fans' favourite Twitch streamers for North America.

If you are in the mood for some top quality yet relaxing and fun Valorant matches, this will be a perfect tournament for you to watch.

Valorant Series 1 will be a 3-day event with several stages.

• 24th February: Group Stage Day 1
• 3rd March: Group Stage Day 2 and Quarterfinals
• 10th March: Semifinals and Finals

Group Stage

• 2 groups of four teams
• Round-robin groups
• Captains randomly assigned to either Group A or Group B
• All matches are Best of 3
• Overall standings will be based on a team’s total match score
• The top 3 teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs bracket.

Playoffs

• 6 teams
• Single Elimination Bracket
• All matches are Best of 3
• 1st place Group A and 1st place Group B will receive byes into the Semifinals
• 2nd & 3rd place from each group will be seeded into Quarterfinals

The tournament features a $50,000 prize pool. Details about prize money distribution haven't been revealed yet.

The tournament will be broadcasted live on the official Twitch Rivals channel.

Additionally, content creators participating in the event will be broadcasting their POV on their private channels, so you can also watch the tournament via their channels as well.
