Get (A)head Of The Game In Marvel Rivals' New Giant-Size Brain Blast Mode

Marvel Rivals will gain a new and gigantic limited-time game mode that will blow players' minds later this month. Developer NetEase Games made the announcement on the game's social media channels of the Giant-Size Brain Blast limited-time game mode with an accompanying trailer featuring some of our favorite heroes, that's worth watching!

There hasn't been much information about this new limited-time game mode, which will likely be revealed at the launch of the limited-time game mode, but some details they have confirmed pertain to the rewards players may earn. Players can look forward to jumping into the new game mode much sooner than expected, as it will become available later this week.

The relationship between video games and "Big Head" modes has been well-documented over the last few years, as their presence gives players a new and hilarious way to interact with gaming content. Netease Games' superhero team-based PvP shooter Marvel Rivals is the latest game to join this gaming trend with its latest limited-time game mode, Giant-Size Brain Blast. 

This upcoming limited-time game mode is set to go live in Marvel Rivals on 25th April 2025; however, no exact start time has been confirmed as of writing. The Giant-Size Brain Blast limited-time game mode assembles up to 12 players competing in matches to gain a place on a Leaderboard and various rewards, including emotes and titles.

According to an official press release announcing this limited-time game mode, players who participated in ten matches for the Giant-Size Brain Blast mode will be able to earn "a Brain Blast emote." Following the end of every round for this event, exclusive titles will be "distributed to the top 500, top 100, and top 10 players for each hero on the final Leaderboard" standings.

Speaking of rounds, the first round for the Giant-Size Brain Blast limited-time game mode will begin on 25th April 2025, which, as mentioned previously, official start times weren't confirmed. The second round of this limited-time game mode will begin on 2nd May 2025; however, there is no confirmation on when this ginormous game mode is set to conclude in Marvel Rivals.
