GTA Online Weekly Update (23 January 2025) Event Discounts and Bonuses This Week

Grand Theft Auto 5 was released over a decade ago, but players can still look forward to a ton of new content every week in GTA Online. Every seven days, a new 'event week' starts, introducing a collection of new content, rewards, RP bonuses, discounts, and changes to in-game missions or races.

Whether it's a brand-new diamond casino podium vehicle, a new prize ride of the week to win, or completely new missions, there's always something new for players to get stuck into. So read on, and we'll bring you up to speed on the latest GTA Online update this week.

GTA Online Weekly Update Reset Times (January 2025)

Below, you will find all the new content additions, features, bonuses, and more in the latest GTA Online Weekly Update released on 23 January 2025. These bonuses will be removed and reset when the new GTA Online event week starts on 30 January 2025.

The reset typically happens at 02:00 PT | 05:00 ET | 10:00 GMT (sometimes earlier; sometimes later), after which we'll update the page ASAP with all the latest info. Oh, and if you like looking at countdown clocks, well, have we got a treat for you...

New/Returning Content

"This week, GTA Online rings in the Year of the Snake with three brand-new Lunar New Year Stunt Races. Celebrate with fireworks, cascading lanterns, and themed décor while earning 2X GTA$ and RP. Plus, claim a limited-time Lunar New Year livery for the Maibatsu Penumbra FF (Sports), now 30% off.

Elsewhere, track down new Yuanbao Collectibles scattered across the map to earn GTA$ and RP, with a special reward for collecting all 36. The festivities also include Lunar New Year-themed gifts, Nightclub bonuses, 40% off the Buckingham Volatus helicopter, and more."
