Marvel Rivals developer NetEase Games officially confirmed Psylocke as a forthcoming playable character for the superhero PvP shooter. This comes after the character was teased in a trivia quiz event on the game's Discord server, which then leaked online, generating much excitement within the community.
But when one character is officially revealed, another is teased as the game's latest Character Reveal trailer centered on Psylocke snuck in a teaser on another possible playable character. All players must do is wait for the closing moments and look at the crescent moon glaring in the distance as a familiar caped figure momentarily appears, signaling Moon Knight as a possible playable character to join the roster.
After days of leaks and teases, NetEase Games finally revealed Psylocke as one of the upcoming playable characters, which was on full display in the latest Character Reveal trailer. Not only did the trailer highlight Psylocke's impressive combat kit, which the developer confirmed the character to have the Duelist role, but she'll be heading to join the battle when the superhero PvP shooter launches on 6th December 2024.
While the developer has confirmed additional details, including working with artist Peach Momoko for Psylocke's character design, another hero appeared briefly at the end of the Character Reveal trailer. At the 0:47 timestamp, a familiar iconography appeared within the full moon before disappearing, teasing a potential playable character in Moon Knight.
Marvel Rivals fans took to multiple online and social media platforms, including commenting on the Character Reveal post on Twitter and expressing their surprise reactions to Moon Knight potentially joining the roster. While stating that they're excited to see the Fist of Khonshu, many have revealed their eagerness to play the character, but we'll have to wait sometime to see what Moon Knight's combat skills and character role will be and whether he'll be available at the game's launch this December.
