Among Us 3D Devs Launches "Powered By Wishlists Challenge" To Earn Free Rewards, Release Date Announced

Among Us developer Innersloth has been hard at work on The Airship on their upcoming release, Among Us 3D, which is the alternate version of Among Us VR minus the VR functionality. The social deduction game is a joint development with Schell Games, which was first announced in February 2025; the developers revealed that its release date would be announced soon.

That time arrived as the official Among Us 3D social media account and dedicated news site announced the game's release date, which will be launching for PC via Steam. The game is now available to add to Crewmates' Wishlist, of which a demo will be arriving soon, and a Wishlist challenge has gone live for some awesome freebies at launch.

Developers Innersloth and Schell Games have officially announced the release date for Among Us 3D, which will launch on PC via Steam on 6th May 2025. The game is a fully 3D reimagined version of the original Among Us game featuring notable features, including proximity voice chat, Crewmate customization, returning and debuting mini-games, and crossplay support; however, it's incompatible with the OG game. 

As the game maintains the themes of "teamwork and betrayal," as Crewmates must complete tasks and report fallen members to "sus" out the Imposters, this game is now fully immersive within a 3D environment that supports four to ten players in a lobby. Innersloth also announced a new challenge for Crewmates and Imposters to add the game to their Wishlist and be rewarded!

The "Powered By Wishlists Challenge" for Among Us 3D requires Crewmates and Imposters to search the game on Steam and its listing and click the "Add to the Wishlist" as the mandatory task. They'll need to rally their fellow mates to Wishlist the game, as they can be awarded unique freebies by hitting specific milestones.

Based on the destinations pinpointed on their Navigation console, all mates can earn a new hat at 333,333 Wishlists, while a second hat will be delivered to their Wardrobe at 444,444 Wishlists. After reaching the 555,555 and 777,777 Wishlists milestones, two unconfirmed freebies will be available within their Wardrobe, and these free rewards will likely be announced.
