It has been around two weeks since developer Behaviour Interactive released their latest "bloodthirsty Killer,"Tokyo Ghoul’s Ken Kaneki, for consoles and PCs on 2nd April 2025. Kaneki, or The Ghoul, arrived to the multiplayer horror game as part of the Tokyo Ghoul Chapter DLC, which included the character's new perks, a badge, and a banner; however, no new map or Survivor.

Regarding the latter, the next Survivor was announced for Dead By Daylight and will be making their in-game debut soon by entering through The Fog and partaking in "The Entity's Trials." Players with access to the game's Public Test Build on Steam can playtest Orela Rose before her official release, which is confirmed for 6th May 2025 for consoles and PCs.

Behaviour Interactive announced their next Survivor, Orela Rose, joining the current roster of characters for their multiplayer horror game, Dead By Daylight. According to the official announcement post, which provides background details on the character, Orela Rose is a paramedic who "specializes in high-stakes rescues," which, when utilizing her Perks, they can "heal, protect, and scout" to guarantee their "teammates live to see another day."

As an official press release explained, Orela Rose "is the ideal support Survivor," which can be of great value to other Survivors who need her, as "she’s ready to save lives – or die trying." Furthermore, one of her new Perks allows players to heal with great speed, the higher the stakes, take protection hits to ensure the safety of others, and risk life and limb to provide her team with critical information."

The Steady Pulse Chapter DLC will also see some notable in-game changes, including the renaming of The Archives to The Rift and its challenges to Quests. Furthermore, the developer stated that these challenges will now be active "at the same time" as players no longer need to select them before joining the next Trial, and there will be a functionality "to pin specific Quests" for them to track during a Trial.
