Marvel Rivals Has An "April Fool's Easter Egg Gift" Awaiting Players To Claim From Galacta's Cosmic Adventure

Marvel Rivals developer NetEase Games released their latest patch update for their superhero team-based PvP shooter, which provided much-needed balance adjustments, optimizations, and bug fixes alongside a few new content additions. While we have updated our page detailing the changes outlined in the patch notes, the big spotlight was on the new Pick-Up Bundle and an "Easter Egg" that the developer added to an ongoing in-game event.

This "Easter Egg" has had many players hoping that it's not another elaborate April Fool's hoax from a game developer, so naturally, this "Easter Egg" has made players quite anxious to learn what it may be. Likewise, the developer has kept mum about what this surprise gift may be, but until then, they must complete the available missions and challenges and claim all the rewards to be eligible to claim this surprise gift!

NetEase Games announced on social media on 25th March 2025 that there was "no server downtime" maintenance to roll out the v20250327 patch update, and as such, the patch notes for this update were released on their official news site. The patch notes address a handful of balance adjustments and optimizations for multiple Heroes, maps, and game modes for all platforms, as well as one bug fix for consoles only.

What raised many eyebrows (and for good reason) is a little addition to the Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event in which players are to complete the available missions and challenges and play matches in the Clone Rumble game mode. This, in turn, sees players claiming the rewards for the Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event, and this is where a little surprise planted by the developer can be found.

While it's unavailable yet, and we have no idea what this little surprise may be, NetEase Games confirmed this to be a "special April Fool's Easter Egg gift." This surprise gift can only be available to claim by collecting "all rewards from Galacta's Cosmic Adventure will unlock this hidden twist surprise," which players have between 1st April 2025 at 12 am UTC (midnight) and 4th April 2025 at 12 am UTC (midnight).
