Fortnite Winterfest 2021: Challenges, rewards and more

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 continues to be a busy affair for players with plenty of challenges to complete, secrets to discover, and rewards to unlock. Alongside progressing the new battle pass to unlock Spider-Man and his mythic web-shooters, players can also grind for the Delta one-challenges tied to the ongoing Gears of Wars crossover event. If that wasn't enough, Epic Games has announced the return of Fortnite's annual Christmas event called Fornite Winterfest.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 kicks off on 16th December and will last till 6th January, giving players plenty of time to complete the limited-time challenges and redeem the rewards that accompany it. While official details regarding the Fortnite Winterfest 2021 remains scarce at the time of this writing, here's everything we do know about it.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 breakdown

Notable content creators such as Tabor Hill received Christmas cards from Epic Games, referencing what's in store for this years Winterfest. Alongside revealing a concrete release date, it also mentioned that there will be challenges and "frosty fresh items." Furthermore, Sgt. Winters will return, driving a Christmas truck and presumably dropping those “frosty fresh items” for players.

While it isn't clear at the time of this writing whether these "frosty fresh items" will be consumables or cosmetics, fans' won't have to wait much longer to find out.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 challenges

At the time of writing, Epic Games have yet to officially reveal the list of challenges that will arrive with the seasonal event. However, if last year's Winterfest event is any indication, fans should expect challenges like "Dance at different holiday trees" and "Stoke a campfire". Similar to last year, completing these challenges should reward players with XP and cosmetics.
