New Fortnite Mythic Turns Players Into Actual Godzilla

Fortnite knows how to keep things interesting over on the battle island, whether that be through its ever-changing POIs or its pool of weapons. Every now and then, Epic Games adds in a Mythical item to Fortnite which introduces some special abilities, often linked to a popular character. 

In the past, we've seen the likes of Iron Man's Flight Kit and Gojo Satoru's Hollow Purple, all to evolve the way we fight and traverse the battleground. But, it seems that a brand new Mythic is on the way, this time involving the King of Monsters, Godzilla.

New Godzilla Transformation Mythic Coming to Fortnite

Epic Games recently released a teaser for the upcoming arrival of Godzilla in Fortnite, posting a ten-second clip of the giant monster beginning its wave of destruction on the island. The clip was accompanied by the caption, "Prepare to ROOOAAARRR!"

While Godzilla appearing on the island is exciting enough as it is, it seem that players might be given the chance to be the kaiju king themselves thanks to a new Mythic. Epic Games has yet to confirm the new Mythic item, but known leakers have already been hard at work trying to figure out what's on the way.

According to @HYPEX, a new Godzilla Transformation Mythic is heading to Fortnite this week. The item is expected to allow players to transform into a "Giant Godzilla" complete with abilities such as a beam, stomp attack, and more. 

Interestingly, a "Throw Banana" ability has also been uncovered, leading the leaker to speculate of a potential King Kong arrival sometime soon.

Given that the teaser for the arrival of Godzilla has already been posted, it likely won't be long before we learn what else is in store for players with this new crossover.
