Fortnite has become synonymous with collaborations, ranging from gaming and anime to sporting and musical icons. Just this past Winterfest we saw the likes of Mariah Carey and Santa Shaq added to the Battle Royale, so it's no surprise that more collaborations are on the way for 2025.
According to some recent leaks from known Fortnite source @ShiinaBR (via @Shpeshal_Nick and @BGsh0t), the next collaboration is set to be with Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.
Now it's been a while since we've seen any Splinter Cell news crop up in the world. The last original instalment, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, launched in 2013, though a remake of the original Splinter Cell has reportedly been in development since 2021. So why, in the year 2025, is Fortnite getting a Splinter Cell collaboration?
Well, it's hard to deny the cultural impact Ubisoft's Splinter Cell had on stealth-action genre, and it remains one of the studio's most notable titles. Fortnite has its Gaming Legends series, which includes a number of popular gaming icons from over the years, including Master Chief, Solid Snake, and even the goat from Goat Simulator. I think Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher is long overdue his Fortnite flowers.
The leaks on this particular collaboration haven't hinted toward a release date for the potential crossover, or what it will include. As you might expect given that these are leaks, Epic Games has yet to announce anything at the time of writing.
But these Fortnite sources are usually pretty accurate, so while no official confirmation has been made there's still a good chance this collaboration will come to light.
