How to get Apex Legends' Black Lives Matter badge

In the United States and Canada, February is a month dedicated to celebrating African-American history and in honouring that occasion Respawn Entertainment is memorializing Black Lives Matter movement in Apex Legends.

Black Lives Matter will forever become a part of Apex Legends with a special item dedicated to the movement, a special badge.

Respawn Entertainment will be granting all players a Black Lives Matter badge.

 "In celebration of Black History Month, we’re granting all players a Black Lives Matter badge at 8 pm PT," the Tweet reads. "It's a small reminder that we must always stand in solidarity with our Black colleagues, partners, family, friends, & players in the fight against racism and social injustice."

How to get Apex Legends Black Lives Matter badge

The badge will be available through the whole month of February and it will be free to all Apex Legends players.

The badge will become available on February 2nd at 8 pm PT / 11 pm ET / 5 am CET (February 3rd)

To get the badge, all you need to do is to log in to the game after it becomes available and you will be rewarded with the item automatically, after which it will appear in your inventory.

The past year was particularly hard for the black community in the US, and many gaming companies showed their support, including a free Black Lives Matter PS4 theme released by Sony, while many events were postponed in support of the movement and fight for equality.

It was a truly rare occasion where the gaming community was united like never before.
