Team Vitality & Heretics Reach EMEA Kickoff Upper Final

Team Vitality and Team Heretics have sent FUT Esports and BBL Esports, respectively, to the lower bracket to advance in the VCT EMEA Kickoff 2025. Both teams will now face each other in the upper final, with the winner securing a ticket to Masters Bangkok.

BBL Esports delivered a dominant performance in the first half of Pearl, securing a 9-2 lead. However, Team Heretics pulled off an incredible comeback in the second half, ultimately winning the map 13-11. Lotus was in Heretics' favor from the beginning, as they comfortably closed out the series with a 13-7 victory, sweeping BBL by 2-0.

"It’s the same old us, Heretics. Nothing has changed. No roster changes, we’re still the same. The only difference? This time, we’re winning the finals," said MiniBoo in the post-match interview.

The FUT Esports vs. Team Vitality matchup was a one-sided affair in favor of Vitality. They crushed FUT in the first half of Bind with a commanding 9-2 lead. Although FUT fought back with five consecutive round wins, Vitality secured the remaining rounds to take the map by 13-7. On Split, Vitality dominated completely, denying FUT any real opportunity to contest and closing out the map with a nine-round lead.
