The Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is back and has brought two of the most iconic games this franchise has ever seen to a whole new audience. That also means they've brought back some of the original challenges, and taking out a droideka can feel daunting early on. With the right strategy, no droideka will be a match for you in the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.

How to Kill Droidekas in Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection

While there are several different enemies and powerful vehicles to contend with in the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, none instill as much fear early on as the dreaded droideka. These destroyers once seen in The Phantom Menace have powerful shields, and most blasters won't have any luck breaking through them.

Fortunately, the Jet Trooper has the firepower to take them down. When you see a droideka or two seizing control of an area, respawn as a Jet Trooper and make use of your trusty EMP Launcher. Usually, two shots on target with the EMP Launcher is going to knock out their shield.

A third shot can finish them off, but to conserve ammo you can swap to the Commando Pistol and take them out once the shield is down. Just about any unit with a sufficiently heavy weapon will have a good chance against a droideka, and you can also use vehicles to take them on if the map offers them. Change up your attack style and you'll soon have every droideka under control in the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.
