Sea of Thieves Twitch Drop: How to get free Obsidian Figurehead, Cannons and Fishing Rod

Sea of Thieves Season 4 sets sail today on 23rd September and promises a new underwater "kingdom of riches" for players to explore. While several players are preparing to embark on their subaquatic journeys, Rare announced that players would once again be eligible to receive rare cosmetic drops through Twitch Drops, to celebrate the launch of the new season.

Sea of Thieves: How to get Twitch Drop rewards

Players that tune in to watch at least 20 minutes of any Twitch streamer playing Sea of Thieves between 24th and 27th September will be eligible to receive three cosmetic item rewards from the rare "Obsidian" set for free!

The following "exquisite ebony equipment" are up for grabs during the Sea of Thieves Twitch Drops campaign:

• Friday, 24th September - Obsidian Figurehead
• Saturday, 25th September- Obsidian Cannons
• Sunday, 26th September - Obsidian Fishing Rod

Twitch Drops will start at 10 am BST each day and will run for 24-hours. This means that players will have until 10 am BST on 27th September to claim the final reward.

How to claim Sea of Thieves Twitch Drop rewards?

After watching a Sea of Thieves stream for 20 minutes, you will receive a notification from Twitch indicating that you have been awarded an item. You must then claim the reward via the notification on Twitch within 24-hours of unlocking the item.

When you have successfully claimed the reward, the item should have been added to your Sea of Thieves account. Simply login into the game to open it. If you are already logged in then might need to login out and then log in again.

If you don't receive your item within 72-hours, then you must log a support request with the Sea of Thieves support team.

Here's how to sign up for Sea of Thieves Twitch Drop rewards.

You must have your Twitch and Sea of Thieves account linked to qualify for Twitch Drops. If you have not yet signed up for Twitch Drops, simply follow these four simple steps.

1. Go to the official Sea of Thieves Twitch Drop website and log in with your account credentials.
2. Enter the required details and click on the Twitch account link account.
3. Login with your Twitch account and confirm the authorization.
4. Now watch the stream of one of the partnered Sea of Thieves streamers for 20 minutes each day to claim the rewards.
