Sea Of Thieves' Pirate Emporium October Refresh Adds Spooky Flare With New Halloween Cosmetics

Once again, the shorelines along the Sea of Thieves have populated with novice and veteran pirates alike as a new update has finally docked across the islands and port towns for this sandbox action-adventure game. Sea of Thieves Season 14 content update was beached onto consoles and PCs on 17th October 2024, adding new stealth mechanics, weapons, and mischievous shenanigans that may terrify pirates and send them overboard.

Alongside the Season 14 release, developer Rare has hit the refresh button as spooky treasure troves of cosmetics have hit the Pirate Emporium, the in-game Shop where they can find some spooktacular threads to don this Halloween. The October 2024 refresh for the Pirate Emporium adds a free weapon, the Sting Tide Blunderbuss, and new weapon collections for Blowpipes and Grapple Guns, the newly added weapons for the latest season. However, something spooky, something eerie, something even more...fashionable can be found within these menacing chests on their next visit to the Pirate Emporium.

So, what delightfully scary items can pirates pick at the Pirate Emporium? A new clothing bundle, the Coral Coven, will ensure pirates look more bewitching when concocting their next Grog, but we can't say if it would be wise to drink. The Coral Coven Cat pet will also be readily available if they seek to magically match with their favorite feline companion, but that's not the only pet to be found at the in-game Shop.

Missing your dearly beloved (and deceased) pet can finally arise from its untimely grave as the Skeleton Owl and Fox pets are up for grabs and provide plenty of scares to those who dare to trespass their Ship. And speaking of our trusted fleet, the Coral Coven Ship Collection has arrived to continue its reign of terror on the high seas with matching Coral Coven Ship's Crest and weapon collection to unleash a hellacious fury when engaged in naval combat.
