Phasmophobia's developers Kinetic Games have promised that a new Shop is coming - and will be featured in the console version of the game - and have finally released a sneak peek at the new Phasmophobia Shop. The Shop's UI has long been a point of contention among many players, with some finding it difficult to use and navigate, so the news will likely come as a welcome relief to exacerbated players.
You can check out the first look at the new shop below:
The new Shop will be coming "sometime next week," if all goes well. It features new designs for the Shop and Equipment pages, along with a new Loadout page, allowing players to more easily customize their loadouts. Players will also be able to rename those loadouts, making it simple to know what you're bringing with you, and grab what you need.
In addition to being completely redesigned, the pages will also now have brief explanatory tutorials to help out new players, and are optimized for controllers (no more moving your cursor all the way across the screen just to select one item).
In addition to the brand new loadouts and Shop, players will also now be ablle to change players and customize their icons.
The new loadouts, Shop, and customization features aren't the only things in this update, either. The Point Hope Lighthouse map is also nearing completion, along with a rework of the Farmhouses. While these maps aren't out quite yet, Kinetic Games is putting the finishing touches on them, hopefully for a release in the near future.
There's definitely a lot of new content in Phasmophobia's most recent update and a lot to look forward to.
