How To Get A Candle In Phasmophobia

You can purchase a Candle from the Shop in Phasmophobia for $15. Note that you can only bring four Candles with you per job, so even if you stock up, you won't be able to bring more than that with you.

How To Use A Candle In Phasmophobia

The first step to using a Candle for any purpose is to light it; to do this, you'll need a lighter. Just equip the Candle and place it down, then equip the lighter and light the candle. Once your Candle is lit, it can serve a variety of purposes to help you out in your ghost-hunting adventures.

Keep Your Sanity Up

Staying in the darkness will make your Sanity go down in Phasmophobia, so it's important to have multiple sources of light to rely on. Lighting Candles will ensure that you're able to see your surroundings even if the generator isn't on or if the ghost decides to tamper with the lighting.

Complete Objectives

Some of the optional objectives in the game require you to get a ghost to interact with a Candle by blowing it out. Thankfully, it’s easy to get a ghost to interact with a Candle if you’ve brought one, and all ghost types are willing to blow out a Candle if they’re nearby. 

All you need to do to complete this optional objective is to bring your Candle along, light it, and place it in the ghost room once you locate the ghost. It’s highly likely that the ghost will blow out the Candle; ghosts can do so at any time if they’re nearby, even during a hunt!
