Phasmophobia's Holiday 2023 Event is coming very soon, according to a post on the official Phasmophobia X/Twitter. The event will launch on 11 December 2023, at 11AM GMT.
For the time being there's no word on exactly what the event's gameplay will entail, but we expect some similarities to the Halloween event from earlier this year; maps will likely be decked out with holiday decor. Players will also (probably) need to interact with Christmas-themed items, perhaps collecting them, in return for a reward. (The Halloween Event entailed collecting Recipe Notes to unlock a prize.)
During the Holiday 2022 Phasmophobia event, players needed to collect Cookies on each map in order to get a series of exclusive rewards. The 2023 event will likely feature a similar mechanic, but a new item or feature. Perhaps players will need to collect Gifts, or another holiday treat.
For now, the only clue as to what we can expect from the event comes from the teaser image released on X (seen below), which shows a few snowballs and a gun-shaped 'snow cannon'.
Thankfully with the event starting on 11 December, fans won't need to wait much longer to see what Phasmophobia has in store for its Holiday 2023 event.
