There are several items in Phasmophobia, including the Crucifix and smudge sticks, that can be used to stop ghosts from hunting you in Phasmophobia. If you're wondering how to use the Crucifix, you certainly wouldn't be the first player to be confused about how this item works; the game doesn't explain how to use it, so you're left to figure it out on your own. What Is The Crucifix In Phasmophobia?
The Crucifix is an item that can be used to stop ghosts from initiating hunts in Phasmophobia.
A Crucifix can be purchased from the Shop for $30, and players can bring a maximum of 2 along per match. A Crucifix can only be used twice before it is no longer able to be used again, so use this item wisely.
How To Use Crucifix In Phasmophobia
A Crucifix will prevent a ghost from hunting you, but it won't stop a hunt in progress. The Crucifix won't just immediately start working once you have it in your inventory, instead, you'll need to take a few extra steps to properly use the Crucifix in Phasmophobia.
First, you'll need to purchase a Crucifix from the store and add it to your loadout before you decide on a map and head out in your van. Once you get to the map itself, look around and identify the ghost room, which is where the ghost will reside and where you'll likely see the most ghost activity.
Once you've located the ghost room, you just need to toss the Crucifix on the ground by pressing the 'F' button. It will work within a three-meter radius, meaning that if you're within that radius, the ghost won't start hunting you. You can use a Crucifix twice before it is unable to be used again.
