Who Plays Gorr's Daughter In Thor Love And Thunder?

Thor: Love and Thunder has a stacked cast full of faces that are both old and new, but many fans of the movie may be wondering who the actress is that plays Gorr's daughter. Though she's new to the scene and unfamiliar to most, you'll certainly recognize the name when you see it.

There are a lot of kids that take part in Thor: Love and Thunder, especially as a major plot point when Gorr the God Butcher takes a hold of them. Almost all of these kids have ties to the cast or crew to some degree.

This sentiment applies to Love as well, the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher, and it makes the ending even more appealing.

Gorr's daughter, who is called Love but is never genuinely named on-screen, is played by India Rose Hemsworth. Of course, that name is familiar to anyone who has seen Thor: Love and Thunder because she is the daughter of Chris Hemsworth in real life. So she may not be internationally famous like her father just yet, but the name certainly carries some weight.

It's odd to see India Rose as the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher when we know who her off-screen father is in real life. Most viewers wouldn't make the connection to the two without the ending in the movie. Before reading any more, beware of SPOILERS for the ending of Love and Thunder.

Gorr the God Butcher brings his daughter back to life at the end of the movie with his one wish. Without the Necro Sword, Gorr can't survive long, and though his daughter comes back, he asks Thor to look after his kin. As Jane is also taken away in a parallel, Thor agrees to the request of the reformed villain.

It's clear by the end of the story that India Rose Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth have some chemistry as a father-daughter duo on-screen. They act out everyday life as a family before showing off the powers that both of them possess.

Many of the other kids on the set were related to the stars as well, such as young Thor for a brief moment, and even the kids of Natalie Portman. Overall, the film appeared to be a passion project for the cast members with kids of their own.

The daughter of Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky wasn't the only Hemsworth in the movie either. Luke Hemsworth also plays an Asgardian actor who portrays Thor in a stage play. This was a role he had in Ragnarok as well.
