Enter a new dimension within Marvel's multiverse as developer NetEase Games is partnering again with Marvel Games to unveil their forthcoming project. The developer announced the turn-based tactical RPG Marvel Mystic Mayhem, a new "mobile, free-to-play" offering that finds iconic heroes facing new challenges in the hopes of averting "the collapse of reality.

The announcement was made, and an official trailer accompanied it, showcasing a few familiar heroes: Steve Rogers / Captain America, Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, and Marc Spector / Moon Knight as they tackle their dreams, which converted into "dangerous dungeons." The developer has yet to confirm a release date and pre-register details, which we'll provide once they become available.

In the announcement post on the official Marvel website, Marvel Mystic Mayhem sees noted heroes joining forces to defeat "the sinister forces of Nightmare, the malevolent lord of the Dream Dimension." As Nightmare seeks to reawaken this dimension, players must assemble a team of three heroes to explore these chaotic, nightmarish dungeons to prevent Nightmare from altering our realities forever.

NetEase's Senior Vice President Ethan Wang expressed his excitement on the game's announcement, “NetEase Games is excited to once again collaborate with Marvel Games to deliver a powerful mobile experience featuring all of your favorite Super Heroes. Continuing our partnership with Marvel Games allows us to leverage our expertise in the mobile space and build world-class games that reach global audiences.”

As mentioned, no release date or pre-registration details have been announced; however, based on the trailer, we can reveal a few heroes that will be a part of its expanded roster. The trailer showcased gameplay footage for Armor, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Juggernaut, and Spider-Man while revealing Man-Thing, Misty Knight, Moon Knight, Sleepwalker, the Scarlet Witch, Thor, and many more will be a part of its reported initial roster as they team up against Nightmare and his forces.
