Since its launch in December 2022, Firaxis Games’ first foray with a Marvel gaming release, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, has been a critical success. Considered to be one of the best tactical role-playing games (RPGs), the developer used their experiences in the tactical genre to deliver a fresh and innovative superhero game.
The studio revealed they’re planning to add more characters to the game in separate expansion packs; however, one popular Marvel hero, Deadpool, decided to make his arrival known, literally. Here’s how you can get the first DLC character, Deadpool, in Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

When Is Deadpool Coming To Marvel’s Midnight Suns?
Deadpool is always Deadpool, and the character has been everywhere recently, especially given that a third live-action film is in production. But ‘Pool will make his services available in Midnight Suns as the game’s first DLC character.
The character took over the game’s official social media channels to confirm that he’ll be coming to “Deadpool Suns” on 26th January 2023 and dropped the official DLC trailer on the game’s YouTube channel. The Good, the Bad, and the Undead DLC is the game’s first paid expansion, including the brand new hero, his twin blade katanas, and his witty personality.
The Good, the Bad, and the Undead DLC is included in the game’s Season Pass, which forms part of the game’s Legendary Edition, or you can purchase the Season Pass separately. Likewise, you can also buy the DLC separately, as players must have the base game or Standard Edition for this to be compatible.
The purchase of the DLC will come with various new features and items even the Merc with a Mouth will enjoy. Additionally, purchasing the Midnight Suns Season Pass will grant you access to the previously announced four DLC characters: Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and X-Men’s Storm.
What’s Included In Marvel’s Midnight Suns Deadpool DLC?
Aside from Deadpool and his unique skill set, new Skill and Attack cards will be added to the game, which could be great for the Merc or bad for his enemies. Additionally, the character will be positioned as a damage dealer to individual enemies, contributing to filling his meter and significantly enhancing his Ability cards.
New main story quests will be added to the game that either benefits him or annoy the rest of the Midnight Suns. Lastly, players can expect new upgrades for the Abbey, including a custom-designed Food Truck, designed by the Pool himself, and new cosmetics, including a ridiculously tight swimming outfit for when Pool takes more time off destroying bad guys.
