One of the most interesting things about Spider-Man 1 was that it had multiple playable characters, and each had a vital role to play in the story. With Spider-Man 2 and its theme of being "Greater Together," you would think Insomniac would follow the same formula, and for the most part, you're correct since both Peter and Miles are upfront playable. 

But when it comes to other returning playable characters, like the investigative journalist and Peter's partner in crime, Mary Jane, the studio has been pretty tight-lipped. Can You Play As MJ In Spider-Man 2?

Yes, MJ is playable in Spider-Man 2, though she isn't featured as prominently as she was in the first game. You first get to play as MJ in the main mission, "Good Men," where you're looking to cure Dr. Connors before he turns into the Lizard. 

Similar to MJ's missions in the first game, this one follows the sneak-in and sneak-out formula but with a few twists and turns. MJ also has a stun gun, which she can quietly use to take down Kraven's hunters. You play as MJ in a few more stealth-focused missions, but we won't spoil them for you.
