Spider-Man 2 introduces a new way to traverse the open skies and the streets of New York City. This new upgrade gives your suit Web Wings, which, with the aid of the airflow, allows you to gracefully glide in the open world.
Web Wings are a great way to traverse long distances, especially if you want to cross the Hudson to reach the opposite side of the city. But what if you end up falling in the river? Wouldn't that be a bit embarrassing for Spider-Man? Thankfully, Peter and Miles have picked up a new trick that allows them to surf in the water. In this guide, we reveal how to surf in Spider-Man 2.
How To Start Surfing In Spider-Man 2
You can start surfing in Spider-Man 2 by landing on the water while using the Web Wings. Simply hold the Triangle button to glide and land on the water to surf.
Note that you can only surf temporarily, and you will have to jump again and activate your Web Wings to continue surfing on the water. You can, however, unlock the "Ultimate Wings" upgrade in the Suit Tech section to get a significant speed boost while surfing.
And that's pretty much it! Surfing is actually a lot of fun in Spider-Man 2, and it's a shame there's no in-game tutorial to tell you how to do it.
