Marvel Rivals developer NetEase Games is on track towards its global multi-platform release of their superhero team-based PvP shooter Marvel Rivals. With nine days left until millions of players globally get ready to "ignite the battle" with their favorite heroes from Marvel Comics, the global countdown ticks away, and a new daily announcement was made online.
This week, players were given a first-look preview into the new map, HYDRA Charteris Base: Hell's Heaven, in a map reveal trailer coming to the game during Season 0. Alongside this map reveal, new Rivals Assemble videos accompanied new character cosmetic skins as part of the global countdown for several heroes for which "the Mutant Yokai Slayer" Psylocke is the latest hero to be spotlighted.
Nine days remain until the global release of Marvel Rivals this December, during which the daily news announcements continue following the recent Developer Vision Vol. 2 update and the HYDRA Charteris Base: Hell's Heaven map reveal trailer. Posting across their social media accounts on 27th November 2024, Psylocke is the latest hero to receive a Rivals Assemble video, which accompanied a new cosmetic skin announcement for "the Mutant Yokai Slayer."
NetEase Games revealed the "Vengeance" cosmetic skin for Psylocke, which is based on the character's outfit design from the Uncanny X-Men (1981) #256 comic. The description included in the skin reveal is, "With the speed of her butterfly wings, Psylocke strikes down her enemies in an instant, using her deadly psionic weapons to leave no enemies standing."
As Psylocke is awaiting players to help them "defend the multiverse from destruction" when the game launches soon, they can do so with this sleek new cosmetic skin, which will be available at launch. As previously stated in related articles, there's no clear indication of how to acquire this skin, but we'll keep players in the loop once we have a definitive answer, which we'll update this page with the information.
