Worlds has been one of the most significant esports events for many years. And now it is back and better than ever, with Worlds returning to the live stage in front of millions.
Teams from around the globe come to compete for the title of the world's best and will write their names in the history books.
Here is your guide on where to watch the games and the schedule from the play-ins to the group stages and the playoffs.
League of Legends Worlds 2022 - How to Watch
All Worlds matches will be broadcast on Riot Games Twitch and Youtube channels. Viewers can also watch on the LoLEsports website, which will allow them to earn in-game rewards like emotes and Worlds Capsules.
League of Legends Worlds 2022 - Play-ins
The play-ins feature 12 teams from different regions. The first seeds of CBLOL, LJL, LCO, LLA, and TCL, the second seeds of PCS and VCS, the third seeds of LCS and LEC, and the fourth seeds of LCK, LEC, and LPL regions are among the 12.

These teams have been divided into two groups and will play for the top two positions in each group to qualify for the Worlds’ group stage. All matches played are Bo1 and will be played at Arena Esports Stadium at Artz Pedregal in Mexico City, Mexico. Play-ins will be played from the 29th of September to the 4th of October.

League of Legends Worlds 2022 - Group Stage
The group stages will have 16 teams, of which 12 are already qualified. Among these Group Stage teams are the first and second seed of LCK, LPL, LEC, and LCS regions, and the first seed of PCS and VCS.

The schedule for matches and the fixtures will be announced once the play-ins are complete and teams have been placed into their respective groups.
From there, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stages. All matches are Bo1 and will be played from the 7th of October to the 16th of October. Matches will be played at Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City.
League of Legends Worlds 2022 - Knockouts
The eight teams which make it through the group stage will be placed into the knockout stages with first-placed teams facing off against the second-place teams.
All matches will be Bo5 and will begin on the 20th of October and end on the 5th of November. Quarter-finals are to be played at Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City, semi-finals at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and the finals at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
