The League of Legends European Championship will recommence in 2020 starting from January 24th.
In the announcement post, it has been confirmed that the LEC will be "sticking to [the] broadcast schedule from 2019 with shows at 6pm CET Fridays and 5pm CET Saturdays each week" viewable on Lolesports, YouTube and on the Riot Games Twitch account.
For those watching the streams, there will be the usual Watch Rewards including icons, emotes, xp and blue essence up for grabs throughout the regular season.
Tickets for the first four weeks of play at the LEC studio in Berlin are now on sale for €11.90 are out now directly through the announcement page and through the ticketing partner Universe with subsequent weeks set to be released in waves ahead of match weekends.
G2 Esports will be looking to continue their LEC domination after topping the 2019 Spring and Summer Splits, winning the Mid-Season Invitational and making an incredible run at the 2019 World Championship.
Teams like Fnatic will remain challengers for the European throne alongside many rosters that have been revamped and pose significant threat to the best team in the West.
