Riot Games have released the official soundtrack playlist for the upcoming Netflix animated series, Arcane. The soundtrack features a lineup of incredible recording artists and bands spanning multiple genres.
One such band to be featured is Grammy Award-winning rock group, Imagine Dragons, who have debuted their soundtrack single on 28th October 2021. This is not the band’s first collaboration with Riot Games, as they have worked on previous projects.
Imagine Dragons, JID unveil "Enemy" music video
The series’ theme song, "Enemy", which features hip-hop artist, JID, dropped a teaser video clip on the social media platform Twitter this past week. The teaser features a young Jinx, for which the song title alludes to the relationship between her and another League character, Vi.
The teaser clip and possibly, the music video is co-produced by Riot Games and French studio Fortiche Production. The studio has previously worked with Riot Games on the “Get Jinxed” and “Warriors” videos.
Imagine Dragons first worked with Riot Games for the League of Legends’ Worlds anthem song, "Warriors", back in 2014. The song eventually appeared on their 2015 album, Smoke + Mirrors.
The single, which is the series’ theme song, will be featured in episode five of the series, which is scheduled to release on 13th November 2021. This is done as part of the series’ three-act schedule in which various songs will be released periodically.
Arcane’s full soundtrack will be available a week later on 20th November across multiple music streaming platforms. However, the full soundtrack album is made available to pre-save for your preferred device ahead of the soundtrack’s release.
Arcane is scheduled for its streaming release on 6th November 2021 on Netflix, immediately following the League of Legends World Championship. The first episode will be co-streamed on Twitch on the same day.
