When Does Fortnite Ranked Season Zero End?

Epic Games has finally dropped a long-awaited addition to Fortnite's pool of modes with the roll out of Fortnite Ranked. This competitive mode has launched in the middle of Chapter 4 Season 2, kicking off with Ranked Season Zero. There's plenty to earn during this first season of Ranked, but with the end of Chapter 4 Season 2 fast-approaching, will we see Ranked Season Zero end with it?

Fortnite Ranked works in a similar way to the competitive modes of other Battle Royales: players begin at an initiation rank, in this case Bronze, and steadily progress themselves through the many higher ranks to reach the coveted top spot of "Unreal." The challenge comes in the form of other players. Matchmaking pits players against those of a similar skill level to truly test their mettle against the best of the best. 

Fortnite Ranked starts at Bronze, then moves through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and finally, Unreal. Bronze through Diamond has three ranks for players to progress through, while Elite, Champion, and Unreal each have one.

Ranked is supported in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, each with their own separate ranks. During Season Zero, players can jump into Battle Royale Ranked in Solo, Duos or Squads and in Zero Build with just Duos. 

Fortnite Ranked Season Zero End Date

Fortnite Ranked Season Zero will come to an end at the same time as Chapter 4 Season 3. Right now, Fortnite is still deep in Chapter 4 Season 2 which is expected to end on June 9, 2023.

With Chapter 4 Season 3 yet to start, Epic Games hasn't revealed the exact end date for the new season. That said, Fortnite seasons tend to last roughly 80 days so we can expect to have Ranked Season Zero last a pretty decent amount of time.

This is great news for those looking to get their hands on the special rewards available during Ranked Season Zero. Players stand to gain various cosmetics, including Sprays, Loading Screens, Emotes and more. 

But players won't earn these rewards by simply showing up. After jumping from the Battle Bus into a Ranked match, a series of Ranked Urgent Quests will pop up which players will need to complete to earn the season's rewards. A new Ranked Urgent Quest is given every match and progress doesn't carry over, so players will need to be extra diligent if they want to grab everything on offer.
