Fortnite Phaedra skin revealed in Crew Pack July 2022

Every month, Fortnite players can expect a brand new Crew Pack to spice up their game, and for July 2022, the Phaedra Skin is the new gothic star. With a style that completely opposes the idea of summer and sun, the Phaedra Crew Pack brings emo and black ink into the Battle Royale.

Each Crew Pack that is introduced in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has its own theme with multiple cosmetics. Purchasing the packs always means a brand new set of items for a skin loadout, and there is only a limited time to unlock them. Along with those cosmetics, there are always some extra bonuses for the most dedicated fans.

Phaedra skin - Fortnite Crew Pack July 2022 details

Unlike most cosmetics in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, the Phaedra Crew Pack is set up like a subscription. This is typical for every Crew Pack in the game and it's why the packs are split into month-long periods. The subscription service is called the Fortnite Crew and it costs $11.99 per month in order to stay active.

At approximately 8 pm ET on 30th June, the Phaedra Skin will be available for all of the Fortnite Crew subscribers. While this will be instantaneous for all subscribers, that doesn't mean it's exclusive. Anyone can decide to jump on the train if they want access to the new content, but beware of the recurring payment. V-Bucks also can't be used to obtain the Crew Pack.

In the Phaedra skin pack itself, you can expect a few new items. First is the skin itself, which is essentially a girl on the beach if she was entirely gothic and based around black ink. Her whole style is the opposite of sunshine and summer, and the rest of her locker reflects that. Along with the skin, subscribers will get the octopus Ceph Back Bling, the Stygian Parasol Pickaxe, Gothic Shadesoarer Glider, and the Inky Reflection Loading Screen.

On top of the Phaedra Crew Pack locker set, there are basic subscriber benefits that you can expect in July 2022. One of those is the guaranteed 1,000 V-Bucks for your Fortnite account. These can be used for anything but the Crew Pack, and if you already bought the Battle Pass, that will usually be refunded with the subscription.

As a bonus, subscribers will also get access to the PvE Save the World section of the game. While it's not the Battle Royale that everyone loves, it's certainly something else to try out if you're bored.
