How to open Cash Registers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

The latest batch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 challenges is live now. This week, players are tasked with opening cash registers three times to earn a whopping 20,000 battle pass XP.

Although opening the cash registers is not a big deal in Fortnite, finding them can be complicated if you’re unaware of their locations. With that being said, here’s a guide to finding Cash Registers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Fortnite Cash Register locations

Cash Registers can easily be found inside Fortnite Gas Stations, stores, cafes, and restaurants. Therefore, we strongly recommend players drop into Coney Crossroads or Greasy Grove, as these locations contain multiple restaurants, Gas stations, and bars.

It’s worth noting that the spawn locations of Cash Registers are not fixed, and players might have to search them across various places on the island. 

How to open Cash Registers in Fortnite

Opening Cash Registers is relatively easy in Fortnite. All you need to do is stand close to them and press the interaction button (E) on the keyboard. Doing this three times will complete the challenge, and you will be rewarded with 20,000 XP for your effort.

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed players will notice that Cash Registers will reward them with gold bars that can be used to buy items from NPCs.
