Fortnite OG Update & Unvaulting Schedule: When Does Season OG Update?

Fans can finally jump back into classic Fortnite, thanks to the return of the classic map and a variety of past features. As part of Chapter 4 Season OG, a number of major content updates will be bringing aspect back from Fortnite's past, starting with Chapter 1 Season 5.

This means players will be revisiting POIs such as Pleasant Park, Retail Row and, of course, Tilted Towers. To kick things off, players will be pleased to see the return of Shopping Carts and the Legendary tier one-hit Pump Shotgun — expect chaos. But not everything from seasons gone by will be arriving all at once. In fact, players should look forward to a number of items making their return over the course of the season. Below, we'll go over when you can expect each new update, and what items will be arriving.

Fortnite Season OG Update Schedule: Item Unvaulting Dates

V27.00 — Chapter 1 Season 5

Release date: November 3, 2023.

As part of the V27.00 update, players will begin with Chapter 1 Season 5 which features the following unvaulted items:

• Assault Rifle
• Pump Shotgun
• Hunting Rifle
• Damage Trap
• Grappler
• Boogie Bomb
• Shopping Cart
• All Terrain Kart

Epic Games has confirmed that this list won't be everything that has been unvaulted, so keep your eyes peeled in-game for more. 

V27.00 Hotfix — Chapter 1 Season 6

Release Date: November 9, 2023

As part of the V27.00 hotfix on Nov. 9,  players will see the return of these Chapter 1 Season 6 items, featuring:

• Floating Cube Island
• Double Barrel Shotgun
• Clinger
• Six Shooter
• Chiller Trap
• Port-a-Fortress
• Mounted Turrets
• Quadcrasher
• Driftboard

While the Driftboard didn't originally arrive until Chapter 1 Season 7, players will get to use it as part of the Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 6 update. 

V27.10 Hotfix — Chapter 1 Season 7 & 8

Release Date: November 16, 2023

As part of the V27.10 hotfix on Nov. 16,  players will see the return of these Chapter 1 Season 7 & 8 items, featuring:

• Slown
• Frosty Flights
• Pirate Camps
• Flint-Knock Pistol
• Minigun
• Quad Launcher
• Poison Dart Trap (not available in Zero Build)
• Itemized Glider Redeploy
• Buried Treasure
• X-4 Stormwing
• Pirate Cannon

V27.11 Hotfix — Chapter 1 Season 9 & X

Release Date: November 23, 2023

As part of the V27.11 hotfix on Nov. 23,  players will see the return of these Chapter 1 Season 9 & X items, featuring:

• Meteor
• Heavy Sniper Rifle
• Proximity Grenade Launcher
• Air Strike
• Junk Rift
• Storm Flip
• Jetpack
• The Baller

Despite The Baller being introduced in Season 8, players will see it return in the Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 9 & X update.
