Fortnite Next-Gen PC Specs: Minimum & Recommended
If you want to run Fortnite with Nanite enabled on your gaming rig, which brings highly-detailed architectural geometry to the island, you will need quite a powerful PC to run it well. Those who meet the Nanite recommended requirements shouldn't have any issues with the rest.
Epic Games have outlined the minimum PC specs to run Nanite in Fortnite. First, Windows 10 (version 1909.1350 or newer) with DirectX 12 is required. Alternatively, Windows 11 users should have no issue.

As you can see, the recommended PC specs to run Nanite and other Fortnite next-gen graphics features are quite demanding, starting with a powerful RTX 2080.
It is important to note that at the time of writing, DLSS is disabled in Fortnite on PC, so don't expect a performance boost for this feature. The reason is simple: Epic Games needs to test DLSS alongside Unreal Engine 5.1 features to ensure things work properly.
