How To Play Battle Lab In Fortnite Chapter 4

The Battle Lab has been a useful and popular feature in Fortnite for a long time, allowing players to safely explore the map away from other players. Players noticed that the feature was removed during Chapter 3, though, and many of them were wondering whether it would ever return to the game during Chapter 4.

Let's go over what the Fortnite Battle Lab mode is, as well as how to play the Battle Lab in Fortnite Chapter 4.

What Is The Fortnite Battle Lab?

The Battle Lab was a game mode in which players could explore the Fortnite island without being bothered by other players. This offered a great opportunity to check out the island's many landmarks, try out new weapons, and participate in leisure activities, like fishing.

How To Play Battle Lab In Fortnite Chapter 4

Unfortunately, the Battle Lab was removed from Fortnite during Chapter 3 Season 3. Many players hoped that the Battle Lab mode would return at the beginning of Chapter 4. As developers reworked the game's map entirely, the Battle Lab would definitely be helpful for both newbies and veterans who must learn to navigate this new map.

Epic Games did not add back the Battle Lab in Fortnite Chapter 4, though. Rather than exploring the map in Battle Lab, you'll need to start a Zero Build or Battle Royale mode Fortnite match and check it out manually in a real game. 

In real games, though, you run the risk of running into other players, meaning it won't be as easy to casually explore new areas, fish, or test new weapons without bringing attention to your location. This is why we'll miss the Battle Lab mode so much; it was essentially a practice playground for getting to know the game's features. We can only hope it'll come back one day, but it doesn't seem likely.
