Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 not only adds new content to the game but also changes the Vault locations in the game. Therefore, many players are having a hard time completing the latest weekly quest titled "Open a Vault using a Vault Keycard."
Even if you manage to find a Vault in the game, another challenging aspect is to get the Vault Keycard in order to unlock it. Therefore, this essential Fortnite guide has all the details to find keycards and open the Vault in the game.
Fortnite: How to open a Vault using a Vault Keycard
To enter Vault, a keycard is required, which can only be obtained by defeating the Highcard Boss in Chapter 4, Season 2.
The Highcard Boss will appear with two henchmen after the first storm circle. Currently, the Highcard Boss only spawns in three locations around the Vaults: MEGA City in the Southeast, Brutal Bastion in the North with a Snow Biome and Shattered Slabs in the West. We've also marked the exact locations in the above image for your convenience.
Players can also locate the Highcard Boss and their henchmen by keeping an eye on the icon that appears on the map. If the Highcard Boss has already been defeated, the icon will no longer appear on the map.
After defeating the boss and obtaining the keycard, equip it and follow the marker that will lead you to the nearest Vault. Most of the time, the Highcard Boss spawns near the Vault, making it easy for the players to locate.
Once you are in front of the Vault, search for a terminal which is typically located on the left side of the door. To open the Vault, interact with the terminal while carrying the keycard in your inventory.
After that, the weekly quest will be marked as completed, and you'll receive 24,000 XP for your efforts.
So there you have it. That's everything you need to know about completing the "Open a Vault using a Vault Keycard" weekly quest.
