Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is full of weapons including the new EvoChrome guns that were introduced with the new theme. But there's one EvoChrome weapon called The Herald's Burst Rifle that stands above the rest in power.
Like many other Mythic weapons that have appeared in previous Fortnite, you'll have to reach a specific location to get this new Burst Rifle. Of course, no Mythic weapon comes free, and there will be some resistance when you attempt to claim a rare tool. This guide will go over exactly where to go and who to take down to earn the latest EvoChrome Mythic.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 - How to get The Herald's Burst Rifle
As a Mythic EvoChrome weapon, The Herald's Burst Rifle has to be earned rather than found. There is only one location where you can find the gun, and that's known as Herald's Sanctum. This area is one of the new points of interest added with Chapter 3 Season 4 and it's covered in the Chrome substance found around the island.
When you arrive at the Herald's Sanctum, you'll see a massive structure that looks like a castle. You need to approach the castle, and when a voice starts shouting at you, that means the location is right. Soon enough you'll be attacked by two chrome wolves.

After you dispatch the wolves, you can move on to the massive room that holds The Herald. The pink and purple boss enemy has a shield and health bar that needs to be depleted like any other boss, such as Darth Vader in Chapter 3 Season 3. It can be tough, so attempting this fight in duos at the very least will save you a ton of grief in the long run.
Once The Herald is taken down, the boss will drop the gun you're looking for. The Herald's Burst Rifle will fall on the ground and will provide an instant Mythic path to the EvoChrome rifle. On standard EvoChrome rifles in Fortnite, you can still upgrade the weapon to a Mythic rarity, but it will take plenty of damage to get there.
In the Paradise Chapter 3 Season 4 seasonal quests, you'll eventually need to fight The Herald regardless. So, grabbing the Mythic weapon is a fun bonus for the tough fight ahead. It never hurts to have some extra firepower.
