Epic Games recently removed the Travis Scott's Fortnite emote removed Item Shop following the Astroworld tragedy, and one day later, on 9th November 2021, released a Fortnite v18.30 hotfix update. While there isn't much to write home about in hotfix updates in general, the developer did release the Combat Pistol and vaulted the standard pistol in the process.
Here's what you need to know about the Combat Pistol, including where you can get one on the Fortnite island, as well as the full stats for this new weapon, for all its rarities.
How to get Combat Pistol in Fortnite
Just like the Combat AR, the Combat Pistol has low bullet spread making for accurate shots and features high damage. The downside, however, is that this sidearm has a lot of recoil.
Due to the standard pistol being vaulted by Epic Games, players can easily find the Combat Pistol, as it is part of floor loot, found in chests, defeating a Caretaker (drops high-quality weapons) and even from fishing.

Now that you know how to get the Combat Pistol and what the weapon's gameplay looks like, it's time to dive into the stats.
Fortnite Combat Pistol stats per rarity
The Combat Pistol, just like most other weapons in Fortnite, has five rarity levels. At the bottom of the pack is "common" and it goes up all the way to "legendary".
Thanks to dataminer HYPEX, we can take a look at the complete stats for the Combat Pistol, featuring details for all rarities. Check out the stats below.
The only other gameplay change is the Fortnite v18.30 hotfix update sees refinements to the Sideways Rifle.
The Sideways Rifle now reaches its "close to overheating" aka superpowered state faster and stays there longer. It is also more accurate, so it's definitely worth adding to your arsenal during a match of Fortnite battle royale.
Clearly, the Combat Pistol is quite easy to get in Fortnite right now, and it packs a punch, judging by its complete stats for all rarities.
