Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf and Liquid Stretch seemingly won’t be competing together in Fortnite Duos.
Team Liquid’s Stretch, who has competed in Fortnite tournaments alongside Bugha and Shawn “clarityG” Washington since Season X last year, appeared to confirm on Twitter he’ll no longer be playing alongside the Fortnite World Cup Solos champion.
Posting on Twitter, Stretch wrote: “no longer playing with bugha btw, you can’t be the best if you stream and bugha has to stream so decided it’s best we play with other people.”
After being asked as the reason to why they’re no longer competing together, Stretch replied: “Streaming > competitive for somebody like him.”

Bugha rakes in thousands of viewers on Twitch, being one of the most famous Fortnite players in the world after winning last year’s World Cup event.
Bugha has yet to comment on the parting of ways, although Stretch has stated he’s now playing alongside NRG’s Ben “Edgey” Peterson.

While Fortnite streamers have a habit of misleading their audience, Stretch has replied to some scepticism from fans - claiming this isn’t a wind up.

So is this the end for Stretch and Bugha? We await word from the champion himself.
Fortnite recently announced its competitive plans for the rest of the year, with this year’s Fortnite World Cup officially cancelled.
