As scheduled by Epic Games and later tweeted out by popular Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey, the Fortnite "Wild Storm" Lightning Cup is set to begin in all regions on 11th August at 6:00 pm ET (1 pm GMT on 11th August). Players on PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, Switch, and PC devices will all have access to the Fortnite "Wild Storm" Lightning Cup.

Many in-the-know players will notice this is the same date as the Fortnite Pgod Cup. However, the schedules should allow for players to compete in both tournaments should they so choose.
Fortnite "Wild Storm" Lightning Cup - Tournament Format
The Fortnite "Wild Storm" Lightning Cup in Chapter 3 Season 3 will host lobbies for Duos mode. Once entered into the "Wild Storm" Lightning Cup, contestants will play a set number of matches (yet to be specified) and score points in an attempt to climb the standings. The points scoring system for the "Wild Storm" Lightning Cup is as follows:
