Probably the easiest way to get the Vanguard Squadron X-Wing Glider in Fortnite on all platforms is by visiting the shop and opening your wallet.

The Vanguard Squadron X-Wing Glider costs 1,200 V-Bucks.

This beautiful glider based on the iconic Star Wars X-Wing ship, will be part of the standard Fortnite item shop "from time to time" according to Epic Games. 

For PC gamers, however, there's another way to get the Vanguard Squadron X-Wing Glider.

Star Wars: Squadrons releases on 2nd October, and if you plan on purchasing the game via the Epic Games Store, you will be rewarded with the Vanguard Squadron X-Wing Glider for free.

The game, however, costs $39.99 to pre-order. If you plan on picking it up on PC anyway, and happen to play Fortnite on PC, then this is a good way to get it "for free" while not spending your V-Bucks.

Thankfully, this isn't a pre-order bonus for Star Wars: Squadrons. The promotion ends on 1st October 2021, which means you have a long time to decide if you want to play Star Wars: Squadrons and claim your free Fortnite Vanguard Squadron X-Wing Glider.
