How to get Fortnite Thermal Rifle - Chapter 3 Season 2

The Thermal Rifle was first introduced to Fortnite way back in Season 4 of Chapter 1 and has been one of the more effective long-range tools to take down opponents. Chapter 3 Season 2 brings back the popular weapon and gives players a chance to get a one-of-a-kind special version as well.

Currently, the Fortnite landscape features two variants of the Thermal Rifle as well as the Mythic version from defeating Huntmaster Saber. Players will be able to find both Epic and Legendary Thermal Rifles in both loot chests as well as floor loot, or by defeating an IO Hunter (NPCs).

Huntmaster Saber's Thermal Rifle - Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

To get the best available version of the Thermal Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, you'll need to defeat the NPC who wields it, Huntmaster Saber. The Fortnite v20.20 update once again changed the location of Huntmaster Saber on the battle royale island, as he can now be found in the IO blimp hovering over the Coney Crossroads location.

You should be able to take down Huntmaster Saber by yourself thanks to the new Overshield feature added in Chapter 3 Season 2. The IO blimps also feature Jetpacks, so you can pick up some serious loot when you defeat Huntmasater Saber.
