Fortnite Switch Cup 3: Schedule, how to register, format, prize pool, and more

From time to time, Epic Games releases exclusive content for players on different platforms, from unique skins to competitions only available on certain consoles.

This time, a new Switch Cup will arrive to reward the best players on the Nintendo Switch, with several exclusive skins for Switch players to enrich their collections and show off in their online games.

Switch Cup 3: Dates and format

The Switch Cup 3 is a Solo tournament scheduled for 9th March, and it will last for 3 hours.

During the course of the tournament, participants must play ten games in which they must collect as many points as possible to be among the best.

Points available in each match will be rewarded as follows:

• Victory Royale: 20 points

• 2nd: 15 points

• 3rd: 13 points

• 4th - 5th: 10 points

• 6th - 10th: 8 points

• 11th - 15th: 7 points

• 16th - 20th: 6 points

• 21st - 25th: 5 points

• 26th - 30th: 4 points

• 31st - 40th: 3 points

• 41st - 50th: 2 points

• 51st - 75th: 1 point

• Each Elimination: 1 point

How to register for Switch Cup 3

To participate, players will need to have an Epic account at level 30 or above, and also have 2FA (two-factor authentication) enabled in their accounts, which can be made through their Fortnite 2FA website.

If you are fulfilling these condition, you will be able to register in the game once the tournament registration starts.

Switch Cup 3: Rewards

After 10 games best players from each region will receive two exclusive items: Cyprus Nell Outfit and Quantic Pulsar Back Bling.

For each region, the following standings will receive these rewards:

• Europe: 1st - 700th

• NA East: 1st - 460th

• NA West: 1st - 200th

• Brazil: 1st - 200th

• Asia: 1st - 1000th

• Oceania: 1st - 60th 

• Middle East: 1st - 80th

Likewise, all players who score a minimum of eight points will receive the Impasto Wrap in their inventory, as a compensation reward for entering the tournament.
