Fortnite Season 6 Primal and Mechanical weapons: All new guns and how to craft

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 has a tonne of new content which released on 16th March 2021 via the v16.00 update. There's also a shiny new Battle Pass for players to grind for. However, one of the most interesting new aspects is the ability to craft new weapons. Here's a full list of the Primal & Mechanical weapons in Fortnite Season 6 which we know of so far, as well as how you can craft them.

Fortnite Season 6: All Primal & Mechanical weapons

In Fortnite Season 6, there's a total of 14 Primal and Mechanical weapons players will be able to craft. This also includes a "Makeshift" category.

The list of new, craftable weapons is:

• Mechanical Explosive Bow
• Mechanical Shockwave Bow
• Primal Stink Bow
• Primal Flame Bow
• Mechanical Bow
• Makeshift Bow
• Primal SMG
• Makeshift Submachine Gun
• Primal Shotgun
• Makeshift Shotgun
• Primal Rifle
• Makeshift Rifle
• Primal Pistol
• Makeshift Revolver

Primal weapons in Fortnite Season 6 are high0damage variants that pack an incredible punch which could give you a distinct advantage in battle after you've managed to craft one.

New Fortnite Season 6 weapons: How to craft

Players are now able to craft these new weapons in Fortnite Season 6. This is done by first gathering resources across the map.

Epic Games explains: "Don't just find your tools. make them. using loot from wildlife and technology untouched by the pulse, craft your own weapons anywhere. Craft high-damage primal weapons like the primal rifle, high-precision familiar weapons like the revolver, and powerful bows like the flame and metal bow."

These resources should be found in abundance in one of the new locations, such as The Spire, Boney Burbs and Colossal Crops.

Using Animal Bones (from killing the new wildlife) and Mechanical Parts found by killing animals or destroying Mechanical Guardians (found at Guardian locations), for example, you will be able to craft Primal and Mechanical weapons.

Players can now use the "Crafting" tab to upgrade or transform weapons and craft a brand new one. 

For example, you can transform a Mechanical Bow into a Mechanical Shockwave Bow by using the Crafting tab and upgrading your Mechanical Boy with two Shockwave grenades.
