We recommend checking the new Collider POI, which you will find just north of Tilted Tower. You will find several IO guards patrolling the area, so be cautious while exploring this place

How to complete Rail Gun Recon quests
While most Rail Gun Recon quests are pretty self-explanatory, there are two that we believe you may either struggle with or find confusing.
To mark an enemy using Recon Scanner, simply point the gun towards the enemy's direction and press the shoot button to send a pulse to scan them.
To deal 500 damage from 50 or more meters with the Rail Gun, we recommend starting the game in the regular build mode. You don't necessarily have to shoot other players, so we recommend going to a location like the Command Cavern or the Collider, as they are swarming with IO guards.
Once you have found your targets, we recommend finding a vantage point either at the top of a cliff or build a long staircase that would allow you to shoot enemies from 50 or meters with the Rail Gun. Following these steps should allow you to complete this particular Rail Gun Recon quest.
That's everything you need to know about Fortnite Rail Gun Recon quests.
