Fortnite: Neymar Jr Cup - Schedule, format, prize pool, how to enter, and more

Fortnite isn't just looking to add any and every videogame icon there has ever existed, but they often give renowned content creators a chance to be featured in the battle royale.

Whether it's via the Icon series of skins or by creating emotes, we've seen popular streamers become part of Fortnite, however, Neymar Jr coming into the game opens up new opportunities to see more familiar pop culture faces jump into the game.

To celebrate such an occasion, Epic has decided to create the Neymar Jr Cup, with top-placed players earning a limited-edition football boot.

Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about Fortnite's Neymar Jr Cup.

The Neymar Jr Cup will take place this upcoming 28th April. Epic Games has stated that in-game times will vary depending on your region so be sure to check the in-game schedule to get an official start time where you live.

Fortnite Neymar Jr Cup - Format

This event is a solos tournament. During the three-hour window in which the event is live, players can take part in up to 10 games, earning points based on kills and placements.

Once the event ends, they'll be able to see their place in the Leaderboards.

Here's the scoring system: 

• Victory Royale: 30 points
• 2nd: 25 points
• 3rd: 22 points
• 4th: 20 points
• 5th: 19 points
• 6th: 17 points
• 7th: 16 points
• 8th: 15 points
• 9th: 14 points
• 10th: 13 points
• 11th - 15th: 11 points
• 16th - 20th: 9 points
• 21st - 25th: 7 points
• 26th - 30th: 5 points
• 31st - 35th: 4 points
• 36th - 40th: 3 points
• 41st - 50th: 2 points
• 51st - 75th: 1 point
• Each Elimination: 1 point

Fortnite Neymar Jr Cup - How to enter

Any player from all regions can be eligible as long as they follow Epic's code of conduct, on top of this, there are three major factors to take into account:

• All players will have to be 13-years-old or older to participate
• You need to have a level 30 account
• You need to enable Two-Factor Authentification. Go to this link to set it up

Fortnite Neymar Jr Cup - Rewards

Top-placed players will receive a real-life limited-edition football boot, meanwhile, every other competitor that gets at least eight (8) points during the event will be rewarded with the "Spinner Takes All" emote.
