Audio equipment manufacturer JBL in collaboration with ESL is hosting three days of esports tournaments for fans to enjoy, featuring Valorant, PUBG and Fortnite cups, with a total prize pool of 200,000 USD on the line. First up, we take a look at the regional Fortnite JBL Quantum cups, including how you can watch all the action, the schedule, prize pool and more for Fortnite esports fans.
Prize pool
There will be three regional Fortnite JBL Quantum cups. Each region (EU, NA & Aus/APAC) will feature a 30,000 USD prize pool.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place - $15,000
- 2nd place - $6,000
- 3rd place - $4,000
- 4th place - $3,000
- 5th place - $2,000
Teams
After some qualifiers where fan Duos could compete, the main tournament will begin on 11th December.
The top 10 Duos from each regional will be joined by 22 invited Duos to compete in the playoffs. At the time of writing, the Duos teams have not been confirmed.
Format
The Fortnite JBL Quantum Cup will take place in a free-for-all, 2v2 (Duos) format. All teams will compete in a total of five matches, with the following scoring format.
The top team in terms of the score after all five matches will be crowned the winner.
Schedule
The Fortnite regional JBL Quantum Cup tournaments will all take place on 11th or 12th December, depending on your time zone. Check out the scheduled start time for each regional tournament in GMT (UK time) below.
- Europe: 11th December at 19:00 GMT
- North America: 12th December at 00:00 GMT
- Australia/Asia Pacific: 12th December at 07:00 GMT
These will all be one-day tournaments so there's going to be a lot of action in a short period of time to enjoy.
