There have been a number of key factors contributing to the overall success and popularity of Fortnite in recent years. Among the more prominent aspects have been the quantity and quality of competitive Fortnite tournaments for top players from all across the world to showcase their skills.

Competitions range in a wide variety and often time offer exclusive or early access rewards for player participation. We now have an official notice from Epic Games on the next competition set to arrive in the popular battle royale. Here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite Galaxy Cup 3 including the start date, skins, rewards, and more.

Fortnite Galaxy Cup 3 - Start Date and Run Time

In a recent blog post on the official Fortnite website, Epic Games detailed that the upcoming Fortnite Galaxy Cup 3 will be featured for Android players running on 16th and 17th July.

Based on participation as well as results in the competitions, select players will be eligible to unlock awesome in-game rewards before they become available in the Item Shop.

Fortnite Galaxy Cup 3 - Format and Rewards

On each day of the competition, players will have two hours and a total of seven (7) matches to earn as many points as possible. Check the Compete tab in-game to find the exact start time for your region for 16th and 17th July.

Here's the breakdown of how points are awarded in the Galaxy Cup 3:

Match Placement

• Victory Royale: 30 points
• 2nd: 25 points
• 3rd: 22 points
• 4th: 20 points
• 5th: 19 points
• 6th: 17 points
• 7th: 16 points
• 8th: 15 points
• 9th: 14 points
• 10th: 13 points
• 11th - 15th: 11 points
• 16th - 20th: 9 points
• 21st - 25th: 7 points
• 26th - 30th: 5 points
• 31st - 35th: 4 points
• 36th - 40th: 3 points
• 41st - 50th: 2 points
• 51st - 75th: 1 point

Each Elimination

• 1 point

Top performing players in each region will receive the Khari (Galaxy Evolved) Outfit and Truth’s Quiver Back Bling, while any player who earns at least 8 points will receive the Galaxy Creation Spray.
