The Fortnite Flakes Power Cup has just been announced and will be available for both PC and Console players. The tournament will include a massive $40,000 prize pool and entry is totally free.

Fortnite Flakes Power Cup: How to join
The Fortnite Flakes Power Cup tournament is open to any eligible Trios team. No solo or duos teams will be allowed to play. All players on the team must be ranked in the Arena. The players should be ranked in the Open League (Division I, II or III) to join the tournament.
Eligible players include any player that is aged 13 years or older. If a player is under 18 years then they will need to have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Players must also have Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) enabled on their Epic account and their account must be in good standing.
Only players with Epic accounts levelled thirty or above will be eligible to compete.
The following regions will not be permitted to play: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Turkey and Zimbabwe
Once the tournament becomes active, you will be able to register in-game.
Fortnite Flakes Power Cup: Schedule
The Fortnite Flakes Power Cup will comprise a total of three stages and will commence from the 14th of July until the 28th of July. The exact times have yet to be announced but will most likely be regionally based.
The tournament will be open to teams playing on either PC or console platforms but there will be no cross-play between the groups.
PC and Console Groups will play on the same days for Stages 1 and 2 (but at different times).
Stage 1 (Qualifiers)
- 14th of July - Qualifier 1 (Rounds 1 & 2)
- 15th of July - Qualifier 2 (Rounds 1 & 2)
Stage 2 (“Heats”)
- 17th of July - Heats 1 to 4
Stage 2 (Grand Finals)
- 24th of July - Day 1 (PC Group)
- 25th of July - Day 2 (PC Group)
- 27th of July - Day 1 (Console Group)
- 28th of July - Day 2 (Console Group)
Fortnite Flakes Power Cup: Format and Scoring
The tournament will be completed in the stages previously mentioned. Each round of the Qualifiers will last approximately 3 hours and teams may participate in a maximum of ten matches.
At the conclusion of Round 2 of the applicable Qualifier, the top point-earning teams as listed on the Leaderboard will advance to Stage 2 and will be seeded into groups (i.e. a “Heat”). During this stage, teams will play up to six matches.
The top placing teams in each Heat in Stage 2 will progress to the Grand Finals.
For clarity, teams will only be allowed to enter one Qualifier for any given platform, so you can’t enter for both Qualifiers 1 and 2.
The tournament will follow the scoring system indicated below.
- Victory Royale: 30 Points
- 2nd: 26 Points
- 3rd: 24 Points
- 4th: 22 Points
- 5th: 21 Points
- 6th: 20 Points
- 7th: 19 Points
- 8th: 18 Points
- 9th: 17 Points
- 10th: 16 Points
- 11th: 14 Points
- 12th: 13 Points
- 13th: 12 Points
- 14th: 11 Points
- 15th: 10 Points
- 16th: 9 Points
- 17th: 8 Points
- 18th to 24th: 5 Points
Each elimination will earn players an additional 2 Points.
