Fortnite x Dead By Daylight Crossover Leak - What We Know

Over the years, Epic Games has hosted several crossover events, ranging from its five-issue Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic book series to its more recent Fortnite x Naruto Shippuden collaboration. However, multiple prominent leakers have suggested that Fortnite could be looking to expand its metaverse even further.

In particular, Epic's famed battle royale is speculated to host a crossover with the popular survival game Dead by Daylight. The collaboration is expected to see the arrival of survival game character Meg Thomas on the island and Fortnite's classic "Llama" charm appearing in DBD.

Rumor: Fortnite x Dead by Daylight Collaboration Coming Soon

This latest information was received via a Twitter post by notable leaker FNBRIntel on 26th June 2022. Accordingly, the Tweet noted that the Fortnite x Dead by Daylight collaboration was "discussed in March" this year, with "Fortnite getting a Meg Thomas skin, and DBD getting a Llama Charm."

This leak was reciprocated on Twitter by another prominent data miner, Shiina, who reportedly received the information from what appears to be the same (new) anonymous source. Notably, there aren't many details regarding the Meg Thomas skin, such as if the skin will be a standalone item or part of a bundle.

Likewise, the leakers didn't confirm how players could unlock the Fortnite Meg Thomas Outfit, although our best guess is that it will either be unlockable via challenges or in a future Battle Pass. When exactly the crossover is happening is also unknown at this time.

In addition, a recent leak revealed that a new Stranger Things chapter is returning to Dead by Daylight with new characters featured in the DLC. Followingly, Shiina said, "there is a good chance that 'Stranger Things' cosmetics will also return to Fortnite at some point."

While multiple prominent sources have reciprocated these leaks, Epic Games has not confirmed if the collaboration is indeed happening (nor would they); in this case, as always, take the information with a grain of salt.
