Fortnite Ali-A Icon Series - Ali-A Cup, skins, creative island, more

Just days after introducing the Chica Icon series in Fortnite, Epic Games has now collaborated with Alastair Aiken, aka Ali-A, to bring Ali inspired cosmetic items as part of its Icon Series.

Ali-A took to his social media to tease what would turn out to be the Ali-A Icon series set for Fortnite. Epic Games has now officially revealed all the details about this new Icon series set, including its release date, skins, and Ali-A Cup.

The Ali-A cup in Fortnite will take place on 18th May 2022. Players will have to compete in the Zero Build Duos mode to get a chance to unlock the Ali-A Outfit and Ali-Tech Backplate Back Bling before they are made available in the item shop. Players who earn at least 8 points in the event will get the Ali-A Army Emoticon for free.

The rules for Ali-A Cup remain the same as the Chica Cup and pretty much every other Fortnite Icon series cup. Players can play up to 10 matches within the three hours time window to unlock the rewards. 

To participate in the Ali-A Cup, players must have reached level 50 or above in the Season 3 Chapter 2 battle pass and have Two-factor authentication (2fa) enabled.

For every elimination made, players will earn one point. Earning a victory royale will grant players 25 points. Below is the entire scoring system for the Ali-A Cup.

Fortnite Ali-A Icon Series – Cosmetic set and items

Ali-A Fortnite skins come in eight different styles. They are - Default, Elevated, Matroix, Ultra-Armor Matroix Styles, Sapphire Paragon, Sapphire Paragon (Revealed), Titanium Tac, and Titanium Tac (Revealed.)

Except for the default skin, all the other Ali-A skins will have Rare Reaper, Uncommon Combat, Epic Insurgent, and Legendarian colour options - blue, green, and gold, respectively.

Other items included in the Ali- A Icon series set are Ali-Tech Backplate Back Bling, Ali-Tech Staff Pickaxe, Lil' Diplodoculus Emote, and The Blue A Wrap. The Back Bling also has two alternative styles - Ali-Tech Plasmawings and Ali-Tech Plasmawings Glider.

The update also adds the Ali-A experience creative island, which players can check out right now. Fortnite update v20.40 will also add an Ali-A quest, which players can complete to unlock the Ali-A Was Here Spray. Once v20.40 rolls out, the quest will be available until 29th May 2022.
